Collaborate Marketing helps companies operate effectively in networked media environments.

The One Minute Version:

Newspapers, TV and radio used to exist in silos.  Now, as digital and IP platforms proliferate, media channels are joining up to create what we call networked media environments.

The big change is that many parts of the resulting new ecosystem are managed by individuals, not corporations, in the shape of blogs, social networks, video-sharing sites, forums and online communities.

What relevance does this have for brands?  While understanding the digital infrastructure is important, the effects on markets and customers is where brands should focus their attention.  For example, networked media has created a burgeoning 'share-and-compare' economy where traded opinion among individuals increasingly determines purchase decisions.

Collaborate analyses and makes sense of the new environment and, more importantly, the trends that are driving the changes.  While we find these developments exciting we know the speed of change and its technical nature can be daunting. Our role is to bring these issues to life in ways that executives can appreciate, feel inspired by and use in their decision-making.
