Digital technology has created a multi channel world that can be difficult to navigate. But the importance of getting it right is fundamental to content owners.
Today's announcement by HIT Entertainment, of Bob the Builder fame, that it has fired it's CEO for "failing to concentrate on channels" coincides with an announcement by Superscape Group, a mobile software company, of rapid growth on the back of the 3G games market.

While HIT relied on the strength of its content to bring channels flocking, Superscape has signed up content providers Sony Digital Pictures and Disney, who were drawn by its ability to run games across 11 network operators.
In fact HIT has signed a deal with Comcast to run a 24 hour pre-school cable channel in the US. However, it's the massive potential for growth on mobile that is driving Superscape, with mobile games expecting to retail around $5 in the US and £5 in the UK
At Collaborate Marketing we believe it's vital for modern marketeers to keep a close eye on the rapidly-changing digital landscape.
