Foxy Marketing
The idea of open source marketing that I write about below is being picked up all round the world. Here's a great article by Hans Peter Brondmo discussing how the advertising business could use Creative Commons
Nice quote: Open-source marketing encourages openness and discussion, facilitates debate and idea sharing. It encourages free downloads of the finished ad and the "source code" -- all the storyboards, video clips, raw animation, text copy, sound files, and other components -- used to construct the advertisement. Open-source marketing enlists the audience to take a message, an image, or a jingle and "improve" it by creating derivative works." Hans Peter defintely qualifies as a Modern Marketeer.

Stumble It!
Creative Commons licenses are a great idea for propmotional materials. But there's a hell of a lot more to marketing than promotion and that's what's missing from this site.
