Rupert Murdoch spoke to the American Society of Newspapers Editors about the Internet yesterday and acknowledged his status as a "digital immigrant". It's an insightful speech that borrows this great quote from the uber-commentator Jeff Jarvis (who writes it up here).
"Give the people control of media, they will use it. Don’t give people control of media, and you will lose them."
Murdoch also says that the technology isn't the issue...
"What I worry about much more is our ability to make the necessary cultural changes to meet the new demands of the digital native."
