Blog Mobs Rule

Nicolai_ceausescu_colourI went to an event yesterday called Blogging: An Authentic Conversation organised by NMK.  It was an interesting afternoon covering a wide range of subjects, ably hosted by web veteran Steve BowbrickJohnnie used a video of Ceaucescu's last public speech...

...to show the dangers of underestimating community power, which Rafael Behr - who also gave a great talk - writes up on the  Observer Blog.  Paul Goodison has written up some excellent notes from the afternoon here while Lloyd has sorted out a post-match wiki and is threatening a podcast.  Splendid.

UPDATE: Lloyd's threat is now a reality.
