Alex Barnett, a Redmond-based Microsoft exec, and old colleague of mine, believes markets are in fact conversations, after a few thoughts and questions on his blog led to uber-tech players, like Marc Andreessen, answering his questions. The experience led Alex to think that, "Companies need to come down from their Ivory Towers and talk to the people with whom they hope to create relationships." Who'd disagree with that?

Je partage entièrement ce sentiment. Néanmoins, toutes les entreprises et/ou marques n'ont pas le sentiment d'avoir quelque chose d'intéressant à dire dans la blogosphère pour y pénétrer ou sont trop cartésiennes, pas assez ouvertes d'esprit pour intervenir lorsque l'on parle d'elles sur le web.
