Convergence Culture

BigShinyThing has an interview with Henry Jenkins, digital anthropologist and author of Convergence Culture.  Jenkins is an associate of Danah Boyd and comes neck-deep in peer-to-peer culture, fandom and audience participation.  There's lots of juice in his replies to BST's excellent questioning including why Lost is a cultural attractor and activator.  I also like his observation that in today's media ecosystem,"You have to create a context where grassroots creativity is respected rather than shut down".
