The rate at which games console are developing could lead to a very significant change to entertainment at home, in just a few years.
The console industry (ie Sony/Microsoft) believes it will be able to put a broadband enabled electronic device with a 1000GB hard drive with piracy protection, capable of delivering games, video and music, in a highly usable format, in 25 per cent of European households by 2007.
Or in other words, a fat proprietary pipe right into European living rooms that is able to deliver almost any content at all.
Or in other words, Microsoft TV ?
