Yesterday's Observer carried an interview with Charles Allen, architect and chief executive of the modern ITV and therefore a very big voice in the world of UK advertising. Allen feels his business is healthy (profits at £340m) and that live TV is a factor in that. However, his explanation of why PVR technology wasn't concerning him seems odd...
